Can You Wear Shoes During Umrah?

Umrah pilgrimage is so life-changing for a person that it makes up for their sins and cleans their souls. First Half 3 Star Ramadan Umrah Package 2023 brings hundreds of thousands of pilgrims to Makkah every year for the holy rituals of minor pilgrimage.

Umrah rituals

Umrah has four steps:

  1. Assuming the state of Ihram.
  2. Performing Tawaf of the Holy Kaabah.
  3. Sayee of Safah and Marwah hills.
  4. Halq/Taqsir.

The first and most important thing that every pilgrim must do is enter the state of Ihram. No one can do the religious rituals unless they are in the state of Ihram.

Even though most of the rules for Ihram are the same for both men and women, there are some differences. One of these things is about the shoes worn during Ihram.

Are shoes allowed in Ihram?

During Umrah, both men and women are allowed to wear shoes. But there are also some small things to think about.

  1. Male pilgrims should never cover their ankles, heels, or insteps while in the state of Ihram. That's why it's best to choose a pair of soft, flat sandals. It's also against the rules to wear socks.
  2. Women, on the other hand, are allowed to cover their feet during Ihram, so they can wear any kind of shoes.

Some general tips

  • As a general rule, pilgrims should not buy new shoes for their holy trip. The reason for this is that a new pair of shoes needs to be broken in. This means that they need to be worn a lot before they get loose and soft. Instead, one should wear a clean and comfortable pair of shoes every day. If you don't have the right shoes for your holy journey, it's best to buy a pair a week ahead of time and wear them in.
  • You should also bring a pair of trainers or sneakers that you can wear when you're not in Ihram, like when you're going for Ziyarath or travelling around the area.
  • Because you'll be walking a lot during your umrah trip, choose shoes that are durable, light, and comfortable.
  • You should bring at least two pairs of shoes. So that if one of them tears, you can still use the other one.
  • Wear slip-on shoes because they are easy to put on and take off. On the other hand, shoes with laces would make you more likely to trip because the laces might come undone often.

Here are some things to think about when choosing shoes for the holy journey of umrah.

Importance of Iftar and Suhoor during Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is all about fasting and giving in to Allah's will. To fast means to stop all wrong things, not just eating and drinking, for the sake of Allah (SWT). During this holy month, Muslims try many different things to make up for their mistakes and get closer to Allah Almighty on a spiritual level. Fasting has many spiritual and physical benefits, and it may even save someone from eternal punishment for wrongdoing. Family December Umrah Packages gives people in Manchester the chance to see more of the world during this month.

Suhur and Iftar are two meals that Muslims eat after sunset. During Ramadan, these meals have special meanings. During this month of fasting, Allah Most Merciful has given us two meals to keep us going: Suhur and Iftar. So that we can get the most out of this holy month, we should learn about Iftar and Suhoor, the two most important meals during Ramadan. Our Umrah All-Inclusive Deals cover all of your meals during your stay.

Significance Of Suhoor

Sehri is the meal that people who are fasting eat before sunrise. There are a lot of good things about eating Sehri. As soon as the Azan is called after Sehri, you decide to fast. Be very careful about what you eat for Sehri. Since you go all day without anything to eat or drink, you should drink a lot of water. If you need caffeine, Sheri's tea will give you what you need. Eat meals that are high in energy for Sehri. These include oats, milk, yoghurt, and whole-grain cereals. Do not eat foods that cause bloating and trouble going to the bathroom. Don't eat things that make you thirsty. Umrah in March is quite cheaper as compare to the other months that’s why people used to Book Cheap March Umrah Packages 2023 UK.

Significance Of Iftar

Iftar means "breakfast" in Arabic. When the call to Maghrib prayer comes, it is time to break the fast, as the name suggests. It is a very important time. Allah is glad to hear the prayers said at Iftar. To break your fast, you don't just eat something. Instead, you give thanks for what Allah has done for you. You don't think much about food and drink. You sometimes throw away leftover food or don't like home-cooked meals. When you're hungry, you realize how important all of Allah's gifts are. Getting a spiritual boost is good for you. After going without food and water for a while, you feel the pain that millions of people feel every day: hunger. It makes you feel more sorry for people who are poor and in need.

At Iftar, it is better to eat natural sweets like fruits and dates instead of drinks with added sugar. They might make you feel uncomfortable and bloated after Iftar. Eating a date, drinking water, and eating something light like fruit is the best way to do Iftar. Then, say the prayer for Maghrib. Your stomach will be ready to eat at this point. You can then finish Iftar. But don't eat too much, because a stomachache could make it hard for you to pray the Taraweeh prayer.

Time When Dua Is Accepted

“Dua is the essence of worship”

With the help of this beautiful Hadith, we can understand how important Dua is. Dua is the way that people can talk to their Lord. Dua is a way to ask Allah for help in any situation or need. It shows that a helpless person can only get what he needs from Allah Almighty. Allah SWT is happy with anyone who turns to Him for help in every situation, because it shows His power and unity. Every act of worship is meant to show that Allah is the creator of everything and that He has all power. The person who serves Allah knows that he is weak and that he needs Allah Almighty for everything. Dua, or prayer, is a sign of faith, and there are times when it is easy for dua to be answered. Here's a list of these special times:

The dua is accepted when you see the kaabah first time. Mostly mo’mins pray to perform more and more Umrahs during the Umrah. Islamic travel is offering Best Umrah packages at cheaper costs. Which is golden Opportunity to those who are enthusiastic to perform Umrah.

While Fasting: A person's prayer at the end of the fast is never turned down because it is a special time and Allah is happy with the person who gave up all of His blessings for Him. Prophet PBUH said:

"There are three people whose prayers are always accepted: when a fasting person breaks their fast, the just monarch, and the oppressed."

The Last Third of the Night: Allah's Messenger SAW said, "In the last third of every night, our Lord (Allah) bends down to the lowest heaven and says, "Who is calling Me? So that I can reply? Who's asking me, so I can say yes? Who comes to Me to ask for forgiveness so that I can forgive him?

Hadith Qudsi says that at this time, Allah comes down to the lowest heaven and looks for the person who asks for forgiveness or makes a request that He SWT will grant at the moment.

Between Adhan and Iqamah: Between Adhan and Iqamah is another special time for dua to be accepted, because this is when Allah calls His man and he says "Labbaik" in response. During this time, if you pray a lot, Allah will give you everything you want. Our Beloved Prophet said:

"A prayer or dua that is said between the Adhan and Iqama is not turned down."

Hazrat Abu Hurairah R.A. told what Prophet PBUH said about Friday on Friday:

"On Friday, there is an hour, and if a Muslim gets it while praying Salah and asks Allah SWT for something, Allah will definitely give it to him. And the Prophet SAW used his hands to show how low the ground was at that time.

Prayers are only accepted for a short time on Friday, so pray all day and read a lot of Darood Sharif on the king of days.

While Drinking ZamZam:

The Holy Water is the purest water in the world, and Allah's Messenger said that prayers made while drinking ZamZam water are never turned down.

While Prostrating:

When a Muslim is prostrate during Salah, he is closest to Allah. This is the best time to call on Allah and ask for anything. People say that when you prostrate, you shouldn't ask Allah for things or benefits in this world. Instead, you should ask Him for the life in the next life. Abu Hurairah said that Prophet SAW said:

"A slave is closest to his GOD when he is prostrating, so pray to Allah SWT a lot during prostration."

Waking up at Night:

Prophet PBUH said:

"Whoever wakens up at night and says "La Ilaha Illallahu Wahdahu La Shrika Lahu Lahulmulku, Wa Lahul Hamdu, Wa Huwa Ala Kulli Shai'in Qadir". Alhamdu lillahi, Wa Subhanallahi Wa La Ilaha Illallahu, Wallah Akbir, Wa La Hawla Wala Quwata Illa Billah".

Allah is the only one who deserves to be worshipped. He is the only one who has no partners. His is the rule, and all praise should go to Allah SWT. All greatness belongs to Allah SWT, and no one can be worshipped except Allah. Allah SWT is the greatest, and no one else has strength or power.

Then he says "Allah, forgive me" (Allahumma ighfir li) or calls out to God, and God will answer him. If he cleans himself and prays, his prayer will be accepted.

When it rains:

Rain is a gift from God because He sends it down when He's happy. Whenever it rains, Allah hears the duas, or prayers, of His people. During the rain, say a lot of prayers for yourself, your family, and your loved ones. Allah's Messenger said:

"Two will not be turned down: prayer when the Adhan is called and prayer when it rains."

Dua of one who is suffering from injustice:

Prophet PBUH said to Mua’ad Ibn Jabal R.A:

"Beware of the prayers of those who have been treated unfairly, because there is nothing between them and Allah."

He SAW said this in another Hadith:

"Three duas are always answered: the dua of the oppressed, the dua of the wanderer, and the dua of the parents for their child."

Whoever is wronged is heard by Allah when he asks Allah to get his rights back from the person who is wronging him. Allah has promised that he will help the person who is wronged sooner or later.

Parents' prayers for their children:

Parents are a gift from God. No one loves you more than your parents. They go through a lot to give you the best, and we can't give them back even a small part of what they've given us. Children who show their parents respect and care will be able to get duas from them. As Allah's Messenger said:

"Three duas will not be turned down: a parent's dua for his child, a fasting person's dua, and a traveler's dua."
